Maple is not a real multi-user applications and there is no way to modify a single file by several users simultaneously. However, it supports up to 50 connections for viewing and browsing (and one of connected users will be able to make changes to the database ). The only limitation is that the multi-user access is not supported for encrypted files.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your reply. Ok, good to know. Is the concurrent browsing-mode possible with 'Maple Professional 6.2' or do we need a reader for concurrent access (which means a parallel installation of a reader an the pro version)?

How can I do that?

Thank you for your help.

All Maple family products support multi-user access. So you can use them in any combination. For example, you can keep your database files on a server and connect to them from a network workstation using Maple, Maple Pro, or Maple Reader.
Please note that Maple Reader software may not be used for direct or indirect commercial purposes without first obtaining a license.
