Crystal Office Systems

Can anybody please suggest how to insert a horizontal line, often called a 'horizontal rule' into a NotrePro document?

I tried the rectangle shape, but it cannot be collapsed down to zero height to produce a single line. I CAN create a table, make the border visible, and then hide 3 sides of the border to leave a remaining line, but the vertical size of the table remains, taking up whatever the height of the table when created.

Are there any other tricks I might try to get a horizontal line that can be edited for weight, length and color?

You can use Insert->Pircture command to add a horizontal line from the library.
