This page provides access to the Lock Files feature. This
feature is similar to restricted
executables except it can lock any file, but not only
applications.
You can select files you want to disable. These files can't be
opened for viewing or editing. Click Add button and enter
file name in File. Or, you can drop the selected files from
Explorer onto the locked files list. Also, you can use this feature
to block any selected application. For example, if you want to
disable the ability to open Internet Explorer, add the full path to
its executable file c:\Program Files\Internet
Explorer\iexplore.exe into the locked files list.
Check-mark at the left of the file name controls file protection
mode:
Select the check-mark to lock the file.
Remove the check-mark from a file name to prevent the file from being locked.
Select Read-only access to allow read-only
access to the file.
