To apply character formatting to a single word, click the word. To apply character
formatting to several words or a few characters within a word, select the text.
Apply bold formatting to text
Select the text you want to make bold.
Click Bold button.
Underline text
Select the text you want to underline.
Click Underline button.
Apply italic formatting to text
Select the text you want to make italic.
Click Italic button.
Apply strikethrough formatting to text
Select the text that you want to format as strikethrough.
Click Strikethrough button.
Subscript text
Select the text you want to format as subscript.
Click Subscript button.
Superscript text
Select the text you want to format as superscript.
Click Superscript button.
Change the color of text
Select the text you want to make a different color.
Click the Font Color button and select the color you want.
