Visuals

Hot track - select this check box to provide visual feedback about which node is under the mouse.
Show buttons - if you selected this check box, a button will appear to the left of each parent node. You can click the button to expand or collapse the child nodes as an alternative to double-clicking the parent node.
Show lines - if you selected this check box, lines linking child nodes to their parent nodes are displayed.
Show hints - select this check box to specify that items in the tree view control have help hints.
Soft sorting - select this check box if you want to sort nodes alphabetically.

Note: this option doesn't reorder nodes in the tree file. If you want to sort nodes permanently, use Sort Branch command instead.

Navigation

Insert sibling nodes - select this check box if you want to create sibling nodes with Insert key. Otherwise, Insert key will creates child nodes.
Open last used node - select this check box to open last used node when loading saved Maple tree file.
Automatic expand - select this check box to cause the selected node to expand and the unselected nodes to collapse.
Expand node on startup - select this check box to expand root or last used node when loading saved Maple tree file.
Wheel navigation - select this check box to navigate through the Maple tree with a mouse wheel.

Font and color

Background color - click this button to select tree pane background color. To select the default system color - click Default Color button.
Font - click this button to select the default font.

Icons

Show flags - select this check box to display an additional flag icon the left of the nodes.
Show icons - if you selected this check box, an icon will appear to the left of each node.
Show icons in Web tree - select this check box to display custom icons in exported Web tree. Otherwise the standard icons will be displayed.
Export Web tree icons as PNG images - select this check box to export Web tree images and icons as transparent PNG images instead of standard GIF images.

Note: some browsers can't display transparant PNG images correctly.
Default icon - select icon that will be automatically added to the newly created node.
