The key feature of Maple is the ability to store documents in a database with
a hierarchical data structure represented by a file with .mpl extension.
The size of such files is limited only by the size of free hard disk space available.
While managing your data Maple can work with unlimited number of database files.
This can be useful in such cases as:
maintaining a rarely used reference database;
separation of users' data;
separation of data used on several workstations (home.mpl, work.mpl, etc.).
The Maple user interface provides easy access to the various tools and features you can use to browse, view, edit, and manage your documents and notes. The main window of Maple looks like the following:
