Paste Special

Post by You4eea »

Hello Maple World,

I'm a SysAdmin for both Winblow and *nix. 80% of my work is best saved and/or created in plain text.

I currently have Maple Pro 5.1 installed, for the life of me I can't get it to save in plain text. Nor am I able to add/create a new node that is plain text.

Questions:
1) Is it possible to create/add a new node that is plain text only?
2) How can I save text I have copied from any source to save unformatted?
If I goto the Edit -> Paste Special, it is grayed out, can't choice it.

Please advise.

No, this is unavailable.

Use Edite\Paste As Plain Text command. It is available since version 7.1

Paste Special is available when clipboard contains objects such as files.
In this case using Paste Special command you can paste the file itself or
link only.
