Maple Pro crash when adding icon

Post by JustDave »

Rt-click a node and select Change Icon
Select Icons -> Add
Select 16x16 ico file and click Open
Select Icons -> Clear -> Yes
Select Icons -> Add
Select 16x16 ico file and click Open
and...

"Access violation at address 00408191 in module 'maple.exe'. Read of address 0000000C."

Clicking "OK" or "X" results in the error re-displaying...in other words it simply flashes and "bonks." I have to go to task manager to kill maple.exe.

This happens only when I first clear icons, then immediately try to add another icon. If I clear, then completely exit the Change Icon dialog, I can go back and Change Icon/Add and it's fine.

Also, for what it's worth, the custom icons window/bar is too small. It's very tedious to scroll back and forth to see all the icons. A custom window similar to the stock icon window would be more useful.

I've played around with it a little more. It doesn't always crash the first time I clear then add; I was able to clear/add 5 times at one point before it crashed on number 6. Same behavior with a new database. Same behavior running from USB or PC. It always gives the same two addresses. Not a big deal now that I know about it.

edit: I'd still like to see the custom icon area enlarged. ;~>
