Bug - rtf file handling

Post by hostofangels »

Hi - just came across a problem when editing rtf files in Maple Pro 5.1.

I import an rtf file (80k) that includes large tables of data that span the page. The import is succesfull and looks fine. However, if I delete a chunk of text or a table, move to a different node and then go back to the first node - the table formatting has all gone to pot. The page spanning tables get all squashed up to the right and nothing I do fixes the problem. Given that the task I have at hand involves importing many rtf files and then chopping them up into different nodes - this is bug is disasterous!

Is there a fix? Am I just doing something very stupid? Should I upgrade to 5.3 somehow?

Help please....

OK - just had a play again and there is obviously something peculiar with the rtf files. I just created an rtf file in Word that contained tables and text - and could not duplicate the bug with it. Hmmm. Confused
